丙烯酸树脂在国内工业涂料中用量最大的是交通车辆。2013 年汽车涂料达 130 万吨左右，其中汽车 OEM 涂料 87 万吨，其中 60%左右是丙烯酸涂料，丙烯酸氨基涂料占多数;汽车修补漆 43万吨，20 多万吨是丙烯酸-聚氨酯涂料。火车、船舶、桥梁、家电、卷材、钢卷尺、水泥漆、钢结构防腐漆、木漆等也大量使用丙烯酸树脂涂料，粗略估计，丙烯酸树脂系涂料在这些领域中用量至少在 60 万吨以上。
