离子交换树脂不能露天存放，存放处的温度为0-40℃，当存放处温度稍低于0℃时，应向包装袋内加入澄清的饱和食盐水、浸泡树脂。此外，当存放处温度过高时，不但使树脂易于脱水，还会加速阴树脂的降解。一旦树脂失水，使用时不能直接加水，可用澄清的饱和食盐水浸泡，然后再逐步加水稀释，洗去盐分，贮存期间应使其保持湿润。
